Unique Features of Lola's Place
Lola’s Place was designed and built specifically to meet the needs of infants, toddlers and their caregivers. Our building was designed by Victor Sidy with open spaces, natural/earthy colors and lots of natural light. Some of the features of the building:
- 8 rooms created specifically for a specific developmental stage
- Infants – 8 weeks to sitting up/mobile
- Infants – sitting up/mobile to walking (12 to 14 months)
- Lower toddler – approximately 14 months to 2 years
- Upper toddler – 2 to 3 years
- Wood Floors – to assist in the development of movement
- Heated Floor
- Fresh Air Exchange
- Each room has direct access to the outdoors and their own covered porch and garden area
- Centralized administrative desk (each room can be seen from the one central location)
- Quiet, peaceful nursing area
- Biometric Entry – the safety and security of your child is our first priority.
- Daily Activity Reporting – we have worked with New Year Technologies of Reston, Virginia to develop a computer program that allows us to provide you with a daily report of your child’s daily activity.
