Lola’s Place was designed and built specifically to meet the needs of infants, toddlers and their caregivers. Our building was designed by Victor Sidy with open spaces, natural/earthy colors and lots of natural light. Some of the features of the building:

  • 8 rooms created specifically for a specific developmental stage
    • Infants – 8 weeks to sitting up/mobile
    • Infants – sitting up/mobile to walking (12 to 14 months)
    • Lower toddler – approximately 14 months to 2 years
    • Upper toddler – 2 to 3 years
  • Wood Floors – to assist in the development of movement
  • Heated Floor
  • Fresh Air Exchange
  • Each room has direct access to the outdoors and their own covered porch and garden area
  • Centralized administrative desk (each room can be seen from the one central location)
  • Quiet, peaceful nursing area
  • Biometric Entry – the safety and security of your child is our first priority.
  • Daily Activity Reporting – we have worked with New Year Technologies of Reston, Virginia to develop a computer program that allows us to provide you with a daily report of your child’s daily activity.
